Our Sin

Everyone is a sinner and is separated from God. God cannot be a part of sin, and sin cannot be a part of God. That sinful nature makes us “lost.”

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.    

Romans 3:23

Our Payment

Sin must be paid for, and that payment will separate us from God forever if we make it ourselves. There is no escape from this payment–it must be made.

For the wages of sin is death.   

 Romans 6:23

His Payment

God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins. He made the “sin payment” for us.

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.     Romans 5:8

Our Belief

Eternal life with God begins with you believing that Jesus died for your sins and you accepting

Him as Savior.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.   

 Romans 10:9

His Promise

This is God’s promise to you: if you accept Jesus, He will accept you–for eternity.

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.   

 Romans 10:13

Your Response

Congratulations on your decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You may want to talk about and explore your decision with someone.

Go to your local church and talk to one of the ministers. Get involved in Bible study. Learn how to share with others what you have experienced. Learn how you can grow in your new faith. There are many opportunities for you to serve God with your time and talents.
